In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Detroit rock artist Kid Rock stated that he, unlike the rest of the world, is "flabbergasted" by Beyonce's massive popularity. He doesn't understand why Bey is, admittedly, "the biggest thing on Earth", as, in his opinion, she "doesn't have a fucking Purple Rain".

SZA Elaborates On Her Role In Writing Nicki Minaj & Beyonce's "Feelin' Myself"
Writing credits can tell you a lot about the people involved in the conception of a song, but they unfortunately can't tell you who contributed what. Scanning the liner notes of The Pinkprint revealed plenty of songwriting from Ester Dean, but the most surprising name came up on "Feelin' Myself", Solana Rowe, AKA TDE's resident R&B artist, SZA.

Barring the freezing cold, hip-hop’s most powerful couple rode snowmobiles through the artic, jumped in a helicopter, and then later warmed up with a dip in the Hot Springs. Amongst all their fun though, the couple made time to pay tribute to Mike Brown and pose for a picture with their hands up on the snowmobiles.
Review: Nicki Minaj's "The Pinkprint"
After a few listens to Nicki Minaj's latest album, The Pinkprint, it is pretty clear that, to a certain extent, she does pay attention to critics. Her last album, 2012's Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, was universally panned in reviews for being disjointed, gimmicky and lackluster, among other things. There aren’t many traces of the over-the-top theatrics that were sprinkled all throughout her sophomore set on her latest offering.

Pulling A "Beyonce": The Surprise Album Phenom
The trend of surprise albums has definitely caused a shift in the traditional method of releasing music. Cole etc. trade customary release dates for something a little more exciting and spontaneous.
Forbes Names Dr. Dre The Highest Paid Musician of 2014
Dr. Dre hasn't come out with any new music in quite a while (although he did co-produce Kendrick Lamar's 2013 Good Kid m.A.A.d. City and had a verse on the hit-song, "The Recipe") but that hasn't stopped him from swimming in cash.
Beyoncé And Jay Z Meet Prince William & Kate Middleton At Nets Game
It was a royal affair tonight in NYC as Hip-Hop’s most powerful couple caught up with Britain’s royal family at the Barclay’s Center for the Brooklyn Nets game. During a commercial time out, Queen Bey and Jay walked across courtside to go meet Prince William and Kate Middleton, but it soon turned into a spectacle. With security keeping a close watch, the power couples greeted each other and shook hands, while exchanging small talk in the process. Kinda fitting, that during their meet, Beyonce’s “Crazy in Love” was playing in the background as well.

OG Maco Accuses Beyoncé Of Stealing "7/11" Video Concept From Him

While he doesn't go as far to suggest legal action, OG Maco is now claiming that Beyoncé took the concept of his "U Guessed It" video and used it for her recent "7/11" visuals. On Saturday (one day after "7/11" was released), the Atlanta rapper expressed his opinions in two tweets. Read those below.
