Sunday night's BET Awards was one of the show's best iterations in years. Performers included Beyonce, Kendrick Lamar, Usher, Young Thug, Future, Bryson Tiller, Fat Joe, Remy Ma, French Montana, & Anderson. Paak -- and that doesn't even include any of the Prince tributes, which were bountiful and glorious. Sadly, the scheduled D'Angelo Prince tribute never came to pass. Otherwise, the show was nearly flawless.

 Well this interesting. Alicia Keys, Pharrell Williams, and Kendrick Lamar were all in Los Angeles recently to film the video for their upcoming collab “It’s On Again”. Co-produced by Pharrell and Hans Zimmer, the upcoming record will appear on "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" soundtrack, which will hit retailers on April 22nd.

Grammy Award winning singer Alicia Keys and super producer Swizz Beatz welcomed their second child, Genesis Ali Dean, into the world early yesterday morning. "The joy of joy is joy!! It's a boy!!🌟🌟🌟🌟 we are so grateful!! #blessings!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️" Keys wrote on her Instagram this afternoon.  Genesis Ali Dean was born 1:52 AM on the morning of December 27th. This is their second child together, following their first son, Egypt, who was born in October of 2010.

The upcoming superhero flick, "The Amazing Spider-Man 2", will feature a new song from Alicia Keys and Kendrick Lamar titled "It's On Again". Lamar is said to be taking on a featuring role in the Keys song. Alicia shared some details on the collaboration in a press release.
