Action Bronson: "Album 2 On The Way"
Currently down in Jamaica filming his sublime web series "Fuck, That's Delicious," Action Bronson shared some exciting news with his fans. "I create the best when I feel I have a point to prove," he wrote on Twitter. "That's how I'm feeling right now. Album 2 on the way."
Samples Of the Week: August 28
When hip-hop began, samples were all that DJs and producers had to construct instrumental tracks with. They'd dig through crates of vinyl trying to find isolated drum breaks, melodies or vocals that they could repurpose for use in hip-hop music. Today, sampling has become less common, but a choice sample can still push a track from lukewarm to hot faster than you can say "uh-huh honey". This week, we cover a wacky batch of samples from Action Bronson, Yelawolf and Travi$ Scott. This is the weirdest edition of Samples Of The Week yet.

Staff Picks Playlist (April 15)
This week definitely ended on a high note. The past two days alone we've been inundated with music, from Rae Sremmurd (who also announced a release date and tracklist for the highly anticipated SremmLife 2) to Skepta (another album announcement on deck here) to ASAP Ferg, 2 Chainz, Fabolous, vintage Nas, and that's just scratching the surface of yesterday's songs list-- need I go into today's, which includes a Kid Cudi x Mike WiLL Made It collab?
Mad Decent Reveal Line-Up For Block Party 2014: OutKast, Action Bronson & More
Following the news of Power 106's Powerhouse line-up, which enlisted Nicki Minaj, ScHoolboy Q, YG and more as performers, we've received yet another festival line-up today. This time it's for Mad Decent's annual Block Party, and they've been able to nab OutKast as a headliner, which will make up another date in OutKast's reunion 40-date festival run.
Action Bronson Announces New Vice Shows Coming This Month
In celebration of 4/20 a few months back, Action Bronson and Vice aired an "Ancient Aliens" special where Bronson, Alchemist and Big Body Bes smoked a ton of weed and broke down an episode of the History Channel's "Ancient Aliens." Of course, like all things Action Bronson it was wildly fascinating and entertaining. The special was so riveting that Action and Vice went ahead and filmed 10 more episodes of "Ancient Aliens with Action Bronson and Friends," which will drop on July 21st at 11pm exclusively on Viceland.
Action Bronson's "Mr. Wonderful" Coming "Early 2015"
Action Bronson has been so prolific over the last few years, it's easy to forget that he hasn't actually put out a proper full length since signing with Vice/Atlantic. Mr. Wonderful will fill that spot, and while the New York rapper has been tossing around the title for some time, he finally gave us some details on the release last week.
Samples Of The Week: March 4
After getting two big albums, Big Sean's Dark Sky Paradise and Chris Brown & Tyga's Fan Of A Fan: The Album, last week, this week has been all about the singles. Everyone from Ludacris to Juicy J to Wale seemed to drop off a new track, and so this edition of Samples Of The Week focuses on three of the best we've heard recently.
Samples Of The Week: February 5
After devoting a few of the most recent editions of "Samples Of The Week" to break down sample-heavy albums by J. Cole, Lupe Fiasco. Joey Bada$$ and Fabolous, we return to the usual format this week. That means it's back to covering three big tracks that dropped this week, and this time around, they're taken from all corners of the hip-hop spectrum. First, Action Bronson paired up with The Alchemist for a dusty gem, then Cannibal Ox returned with DOOM in tow for one of their space-age anthems, and the last track on the list... well, you know what the biggest song of the week was.

Underrated Audio aims to provide you with some dope looks from the last seven days that flew under most peoples' radars. While they may have received front-page placement on HNHH, they didn't get as many views as they deserve, so we shine a little more light on them right here.

Samples Of The Week: January 15
When hip-hop began, samples were all that DJs and producers had to construct instrumental tracks with. They'd dig through crates of vinyl trying to find isolated drum breaks, melodies or vocals that they could repurpose for use in hip-hop music. Today, sampling has become less common, but a choice sample can still push a track from lukewarm to hot faster than you can say "uh-huh honey".
Behind The Beat: Statik Selektah
If you want to understand Statik Selektah in a nutshell, look no further than the first 20 seconds of his 2014 song “Carry On.” The first words you hear are sampled from AZ’s verse on Nas’ 1994 “Life’s a Bitch”: “Others such as myself are tryna carry on tradition.”

Samples Of The Week: March 26 (Action Bronson Edition)
This Monday, Action Bronson dropped his madcap, adventurous debut album Mr. Wonderful. Although it was a little less sample-driven than his prior mixtapes, its live instrumentation was still often based around skeletons of existing songs taken from far-flung genres, as is Bam Bam's habit. We've already covered "Easy Rider," "Actin Crazy," "Terry" and "Baby Blue" in previous editions of Samples Of The Week, so this time we're putting some of the deeper cuts under the source-material lens. Let us know your favorite tracks in the comments section.
