20 Funny Hip-Hop Videos For April Fools'
Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who don't believe every hip-hop video has to be about models sitting on the hood of a rented car. The idiots who believe you cannot fill a three and a half minute run time with close-ups of your friends mean-mugging and call it a day.
Damn Son, Where'd You Find This: 10 Unexpected Samples In Hip-Hop
When sampling, producers usually try to find obscure and/or rare source material to draw from, both because they don't want listeners to associate their final product with a song they already know, and because they'd likely to avoid copyright issues. But sometimes, out-of-the-box ideas will come to fruition, and lead producers to sample from well-known, but unexpected places.

5 Hip-Hop Tours That Are Worth The Ticket Price
Lets be real, most of us can't even afford to buy CDs at retail value. At least that's what we tell ourselves as we pirate just about every record we can get our hands on. That being said, there are some things in life that just aren't accessible for free on the internet no matter how badly we want them to be. One of those things is food. Another is live performances. "Bullshit! 50 is streaming his SXSW performance for free on March 11th," you might say. Well, first off, stop being a smart ass. Second, while it's true you might be able to "see" Mr.

Review: Curren$y's "The Drive In Theatre"
Only a handful of artists release as much content as Curren$y does. Some can match the quantity, but none can top the quality. Spitta Andretti is known for releasing album-quality mixtapes at a constant rate, giving fans all they can digest. 2013’s New Jet City was one of the hottest mixtapes of the year, and his latest offering The Drive In Theatre doesn’t disappoint either.

It's official. Kanye has left Nike to team up with Adidas and their Y-3 line. In case you were living under a rock for the past 24 hours, Kanye left Nike because he was not receiving any loyalties. Apparently, because he is not an athlete, Nike could not pay him any royalties; which didn't fly with 'Ye.
Joe Budden Says New Slaughterhouse Album Is "By Far" Their Best Project, Will Feature Action Bronson
Joe Budden certainly seems confident in the new Slaughterhouse project. The New York wordsmith also made sure to stress that his feelings about the LP are sincere, realizing just how often "rappers say that" to promote their albums. "The Slaughterhouse album is great," Budden said in a recent interview with Hot 97. "It's much better than the shit we did last time. I won't call it shit. That was a figure of speech, but it's much better music. It's the best music we've ever made by far."
Lyrics Of The Week: November 1-7
Repetition remains a reality in the rap game, and specific bars tend to get overlooked. This is an opportunity to take a closer listen and really consider what these artists have to say. We encourage your opinions. Keep in mind, these are the most noteworthy lyrics of the week, not necessarily the best. Also, it's hard to get everything right - if you notice any errors, don't hesitate to let us know in the comments section. Lines we're not sure about will be bolded.
Review: Action Bronson & Party Supplies' "Blue Chips 2"
Action Bronson is not your typical rapper. The portly fire-flame gourmet chef turned rapper with a shock of curly red beard, whose father is an Albanian immigrant and mother is a Jewish New Yorker, looks nothing like his peers. Sharpening his lyrical skills with several mixtapes, Bronson dropped his major label debut EP Saaab Stories a few months ago.
