AngelDust a.k.a. Gage Muzic was born Angel M. Malave in Arecibo,Puerto Rico on March 2, 1987. At the age of 5 he moved with his family to North Philadelphia and was raised there until the age of 13. He then moved with his family to Chester,Pa. which is about 20 minutes away from Philly and at the age of 15 found his passion for music creation. In 2005 Angel's family moved to Puerto Rico but he stayed in the United States because he had the opportunity to work out of a recording studio in Chester,Pa. He worked with local artists as well as Vita (Murder Inc.), Young Chris (Rocafella Records), Freeway (Rocafella Records) and met very well known and respected people such as Charlie Mack. Angel also produced a remix to Chris Brown's "Yo" and a record for the "Flavor of Love" winner Deelishis. In late 2006 Angel was forced to leave the studio and all that he was beginning to achieve due to jealousy and disagreements with the owner of the recording studio. With no where to go, Angel slept in his car in the winter until he had no choice but to move to Puerto Rico. While Angel was in Puerto Rico he didn't give up on his passion and kept on creating music. In 2007 he then started experimenting with Reggaeton and dancehall music and got the attention of an up and coming reggaeton artist by the name of Odyssey (Sangre Nueva). Angel then produced tracks that had features such as Lennox (Zion y Lennox) and Alexis (Alexis y Fido). Angel himself began to sing in spanish and perform with Odyssey who did a show with Yaga y Mackie and closed a show for Jadiel. Angel spent about 2 years in Puerto Rico but although he was born there, he was raised in Philadelphia/Chester and truly missed it as well as the music scene. Angel returned to the states in 2008 and within that same year linked up with Philly rapper Hollywood and sung the hook to "For Real" which got played on "The Come Up Show" (98.9fm) for the entire summer. Then in May of 2009 Angel was caught in a drug raid and put on probation. Three months later he was caught up and took the wrap for a gun charge. Angel did a month in county before being bailed out. Realizing how much he had to lose, he focused on his talent for music. In 2010 he got back into a recording studio in Chester,Pa. as an Engineer and Producer and began producing as well as singing hooks and songwriting. Later that year Angel recorded and did features with numerous artists and did a track called "If you want it (come get it)" with local artist Ace Angelo and got Jim Jones and Short Dawg (Young Money) to be featured on it. Angel then recorded numerous tracks with Ace Angelo and did a music video for "Bout Money" which was shot in Miami and directed by Dave Patten. In 2011 the studio was shutdown but Angel still didn't give up on music. In the Winter of 2011 Angel co-produced a record called "Flying High" for Ace Angelo ft. Maddie Hogan The hook was written by Myra Richardson. In 2012 Angel redid a hook from a song he did in 2009 called "California Dreamin" and Angel's cousin reproduced the track into Dub-step. Ace Angelo teamed up with Director Dan Centrone for the visuals. Now AngelDust is about to release his first Official Instrumental Mixtape called "The Addiction" set to release on Datpiff.com, Livemixtapes.com &hotnewhiphop.com as a free download (FOR PROMOTIONAL USE ONLY) on December 12, 2012.
