Just yesterday, an online petition was established in the hopes of breaking Tekashi 6ix9ine out of jail while he faces trial. This time yesterday the petition was sitting at around 21K (signatures) in just under 13 hours, whereas the number has more than doubled within a 24-hour timeframe, putting it well over the 40K goal established from the outset. The numbers are adding up at an impressive clip over at change.og. See for yourself.

The overall objective of the petition, as outlined by its creators over at TWG Inc, is to gain the ear of Judge Paul A. Engelmayer with a reasonable pitch calling for Tekashi's "temporary dismissal" while he awaits the second phase of his racketeering trial set to begin on September 4th, 2019. Should this ploy work to TWG's advantage, 6ix9ine's attorney Lance Lazarro will use proceeds totaling $1.5 million to win the Judge's pardon.

The petition contends that since Tekashi is not a threat to his community, detaining him against his will do nothing to change his preconceived mindset prior to the pre-trial phase coming to wraps. Tekashi is subject to a RICO act written into the criminal code with special regards to organized crime and bordering exclusions.
