Funniest #DuragHistoryWeek Memes
Today, September 28, officially marks the 2nd annual celebration of Durag History Week, perhaps the most important holiday ever created by Twitter. Today, unless you're LL Cool J, the durag is a relic of a bygone era, and in many ways, a better, less serious time. Most every member of hip-hop's hall of fame has been guilty, at one time or another, from donning one, whether to create a sea of gentle waves upon one's head or simply for increased aerodynamics. Below, we have featured some of the most iconic moments in Durag History, both good and bad, dating back to Biblical times.
Screen King Immortal: 10 Times 50 Cent Was Name-Dropped In Film & TV
For a while there, in the mid-2000s, 50 Cent was the most visible hip hop star in the country. To this day, he's the only rapper that my 86-year-old grandma can name. Such was his prominence that if you were writing a script for a television show or movie and needed shorthand for "a gangster rapper who everyone knows," odds are you'd pick him. Perfectly fitting the bill for the street-affiliated, unfuckwithable image popularized by '90s legends Tupac and Biggie, Fif also had a dash of showmanship that made him a little less intimidating to the general public.

The ongoing conflict between Rick Ross and 50 Cent just heated up big time.
50 Cent Responds To Cookie's Jab On "Empire": "You Know I Hit That"
50 Cent's Instagram diss game is off the charts. His latest masterpiece came last night when he responded to Cookie's jab in his direction on the premiere of the second season of "Empire." In the show, she called him "thirsty" for repeatedly dissing Empire Records on Instagram, a nod to the real-life rivalry between "Empire" and 50's Starz drama "Power." When 50 caught wind of this, he immediately took to Instagram to share his response. "I can't believe Cookie would say some shit like that about me," he said. "Thirsty? Me, thirsty? C'mon, you stupid?"

50 Cent Clowns Puffy's Ciroc For Its High Calorie Count
50 is at it again, continuing to clown Puffy and Ciroc. It seems he's the only one playing the game now, though French Montana has recently chimed in on behalf of the "Ciroc Boys." In his latest Instagram video, Fif tells his followers about the health benefits of choosing EFFEN vodka over Ciroc. According to Fif, there are 1700 calories in a bottle of Ciroc -- aka 2 Big Mac combos at McDonalds. He continues: "And you wondering why your big ass can't lose no weight." He then holds up a bottle of cucumber-flavored EFFEN, which is sugar-free. "Health options," folks.

10 Times Rappers Were Banned From Countries
Tyler The Creator recently made headlines because he was banned from going to Australia and the UK, due to his controversial lyrics. Apparently lyrics from tracks like "VCR," "Blow," "Sarah," "Tron Cat" and "French" have been ruled so obscene, that the UK doesn't want him in their country. The craziest part? This is nothing new.
50 Cent Speaks On Sha Money XL Fallout; Sha Money Responds
50 Cent is never afraid to voice his opinion, and on Monday afternoon he did just that on a topic he’s kind of shied away from in the past. Speaking on the Hang w/ app again, Fif was asked about the relationship between him and his former G-Unit “partner” Sha Money XL, among many other things. Speaking on their history, 50 blamed part of their feud on financial disagreements and Sha Money becoming too greedy when money starting rolling in.

50 Cent, Trav, Slowbucks Rehash Old Beefs In Meek Mill's Instagram Comments
A simple video of 50 Cent playfully throwing Tony Yayo into a bush caused quite a commotion on Instagram yesterday, as 50 couldn't help but turn it into something shady. Meek Mill posted the video to his Instagram as a joke, and rather than having a laugh about it, Fif decided to take the opportunity to stir the pot, commenting, “That’s us playing, but you do be around some ni66as I will put on there head. No bullshit.”
50 Cent Reportedly Looking To Sublet His Mansion
50 Cent's bankruptcy filing couldn't get him out of coughing up millions in the Lastonia Leviston lawsuit, and while it's not clear just how much money Fif is working with these days, he's decided putting his mansion on the rental market is a good idea. The gigantic home, which hosts 21 bedrooms, 9 kitchens, and a casino (?) is reportedly costing Fif $72,000 a month just to maintain. Still no word on what the rapper will be charging, but it'll have to be close to six figures if he's looking to make a profit.
50 Cent & Ja Rule Resurrect Beef On Instagram
It seems the Drake and Meek Mill beef has caused something of a chain reaction. A couple days back, Ja Rule posted on Instagram about comparisons between his own beef with 50 Cent and the current Drizzy fiasco, suggesting that the situations are apples and oranges -- unless, of course, someone gets stabbed or shot. He later clarified the comment was a joke, insisting that he doesn't want to see things escalate, but stressed that the two beefs shouldn't really be mentioned in the same sentence.
