On Monday morning, the 58th annual Grammy nominations were announced, which saw many of this year’s biggest names in the music industry receiving their due credit. However, as always, people quickly took to social media to voice their frustration about the series of snubs that didn’t make this year’s list, including the “Hotline Bling” mistake from Cash Money, and how Fetty Wap wasn’t nominated for “Best New Artist.”

While many people still remain frustrated about the nominations, and some of you are okay with them, 50 Cent isn’t. Taking to Instagram, the G-Unit boss decided to give out his own “Best New Artist” award out to who he feels deserved it, New Jersey’s own Fetty Wap.

"My ‘Best New Artist’ Award go’s to Fetty Wap. He put some real hits out this year. There over looking him, they did the same thing to me."

Fetty Wap did end up receiving a nod for Best Rap Performance thanks to his smash hit "Trap Queen,” but apparently that wasn’t enough in Fif’s eyes.

This isn't the first time Fif's spoken up for another artist either. Just a few days ago, he took to Instagram to bash Def Jam for what they've done to Jeremih with his album roll out.
