The money phone is making a comeback, but 50 Cent wants everyone to know who started it.
Future seemingly responded to Jay-Z's lyrics in 4:44 about rappers wasting time on the 'Gram by putting money to his ear and Blac Youngsta had to get the supersized version of the money phone after the fact.
Now, Fif is wading into the social media money phone foray.
Posting to his official Instagram account, 50 shared a photo of him and Floyd Mayweather posing with stacks pressed up against their ears, with the caption reading "Just so you know where the Money to the ear thing came from. The Original TMT." Even if Jay wants to call using bills as photo props "not getting money," it doesn't look like the trend is going away anytime soon.
