As we saw with 21 Savage's Savage Mode, working with Metro Boomin across an entire project can be very effective. If you've been following the Atlanta by way of Memphis producer throughout his ascendance over the last few years, you'll know that he's hinted at a number of other collaborative projects, though many have not seen the light of day. Today, we're revisiting a few of the projects the prolific producer has hinted at over the last few years -- from those that seem like they could drop any day now to those that feel forever doomed.

Click through the galleries to see the list, and let us know which of these projects you'd most like to see come to life.

London Boomin with London On Da Track

Known for collaborating with fellow Atlanta producers, Metro hinted at the possibility of a full collaborative project with Rich Kidz and Young Thug beatmaker London On Da Track in November 2015. While it's now been deleted, London tweeted "Me & @MetroBoomin been thinkin bout giving y'all a #LondonBoomin what yu think?" to which metro replied, "They ready."

We haven't heard anything since then, but with both producers at the top of their respective games, Metro's tweet still holds true.

MadeInBoomin with Madeintyo

At 2015's SXSW festival, Madeintyo announced he would be releasing a collaborative EP with Metro Boomin called MadeInBoomin. Close to a year later, we haven't been updated on the project, but we're not counting it out just yet.

Watch Royce Rizzy announce the collab at the 1-minute mark.

"It's fire man," said Madeintyo. "Metro's a good dude. When we got in the studio, I felt like I if I got in the studio with Rizzy, my big brother, and my younger brother ... It's like a party. If we can dance to it, if we can turn up to it, it's a go. The last time I was in the studio we knocked out like 3 records and all of them are fire.

When we spoke to him, Tyo wasn't sure when the project would be coming as Metro has a busy studio schedule, but he did reval it would be 6 records in length. "It may be end of the summer," he said, before assuring fans it's "coming soon."

Listen to Madeintyo speak on the project at the 5:25 mark.

Savage Mode 2 with 21 Savage

While Savage Mode 2 is only project on the list that hasn't actually been announced, it has one of the higher chances of actually seeing release. According to a November Fader profile on 21, the two have recorded 20 to 30 new songs together. It's possible 21 could use some of those for a project with multiple producers, or release another Metro collab under another title, but one thing's for sure, we should be hearing a lot more material from the two minds that gave us Savage Mode.

Untitled Collab With Nav

Untitled Project with Nav

The most recent collaborative project to be announced, Metro Boomin's upcoming project with Toronto rapper and producer Nav also seems the most likely to be released next. On Christmas Eve, Metro tweeted out that he and Nav would be sharing their "album" in 2017. He's since pinned the tweet to the top of his Twitter profile, indicating that the project is his current priority. Nav is affiliated with The Weeknd and has previously worked with metro on his 2016 single "Up."

Metro Thuggin

Metro Thuggin with Young Thug

The oldest of the collaborative projects on this list and perhaps the one with the least chance of seeing release. Metro Thuggin was announced with the release of "The Blanguage," not Metro and Thug's first collaboration, but the first under their fused moniker. The project was expected to be released in 2014, and while there have been respective leaks and released from the two, the legendary myth of a project has never come together. In 2015, Thug and Metro had an argument on Twitter, inspired by some Metro tweets where he criticized rappers for attempting to compete with Future. In the midst of what was revealed to be a misunderstanding, Thug retweeted a fan who wrote "RIP Metro Thuggin." When the two eventually made peace, they released their collaborative track, "Hercules," and while for a moment it seemed MT may finally rear its head, it is still yet to surface. Assembling the available loose tracks from Thug and Metro may be the closest we can get at this point, but with Thug and Metro still on good terms, it not out of the question that the tape could arrive one day.
