Someone at Walmart is about to receive their walking papers. Just yesterday (June 22), Quality Control Music hitmaker Lil Baby called out Walmart after he was alerted of some bling that the mega-chain had listed on its website. Lil Baby is known for his 4PF, iced out necklace and it looks as if Walmart, too, wanted to capitalize on the rapper's ongoing success. The My Turn artist shared a screenshot of the $70 chains and tweeted, "Walmart got me fucced up."
Today (June 23), 21 Savage followed suit after he found that his signature chains were available for purchase, as well. For just $39.99, you, too can own a shining double chain with the word "Savage" along with a jewel-encrusted Jason mask. The rapper couldn't help but laugh when he posted the photo to his Instagram Story along with a message to Lil Baby that reads, "We finna own 1."
The problem with this is that it seems as if both artists weren't aware that knockoffs were being sold by the popular store, meaning that they're cut out of any profits made—if they're the designer of the chain. Walmart hasn't issued a statement about the necklaces, but we can only imagine how many people are out here flexing like their favorite rappers with their Walmart bling.
