Tay-K, the 17-year old rapper behind the viral hit “The Race,” has seen a world of legal trouble over the past year. First, he was on the run from the police for a murder charge that stemmed from a home invasion in 2016 that left one man dead, and then back in October Tay-K had another charge come into his life, this time he’s facing a capital murder charge. The rapper is reportedly a suspect in a fatal shooting that left a man dead at a San Antonio Chick-Fil-A in April. He’s currently sitting behind bars in jail at the moment, and it doesn't look like he’s getting out anytime soon, but that’s not stopping his music from surfacing online.
On Thursday, Tay-K decided to re-release his #SantanaWorld project on iTunes with the addition of a couple new bonus songs, including a remix of “The Race” featuring Atlanta rappers 21 Savage and Young Nudy, which we’ve highlighted for y‘all today.
