2 Piece Malone is based out of a small East Texas town called Hooks. Rather than sounding like the current wave of rappers coming out of the region, Malone sounds more akin to Z-Ro, often delivering his rhymes with a bassy half-sung delivery, always inflecting his voice with plenty of soul. He ends the song with a semi-spoken work outro. We'll be keeping an eye on him.
