2 Chainz is getting ready to release some new music on Friday.

It looks like Frank Ocean might not be the only one getting ready to secretly release a new project this Friday. Just moments ago, 2 Chainz took to his IG to announce that he has a new mixtape coming Friday called Daniel Son; Necklace Don.

Announced via a text message exchange with Drake, 2 Chainz says it’s time for new music, and we couldn’t agree more. The last project we received from 2 Chainz was his joint effort with Lil Wayne called Collegrove, which ultimately followed up his latest solo project Felt Like Cappin.

No word yet as for who or what we can expect to hear on Daniel Son; Necklace Don, but thankfully we don't have to wait long to find out.

Peep the announcement below. Who’s ready for some new 2 Chainz?

Comin this Friday ....... "Daniel Son ; Necklace Don" .....Time for some new music 🔥🔥🔥🔥
