We've been listening to 2 Chainz' "Felt Like Cappin'" mixtape all week, and after listening to OVO Sound Radio last night, it seems we're not the only ones. The Zaytoven and Mike WiLL-produced "MF'N Right" made an appearance during last night's broadcast, and it served as a welcome departure from the mix's usual aesthetic.
Since Trapavelli Tre, 2 Chainz has pared his style down to its essential elements, u-turning from the experimental edge of the (also very good) Freebase EP. "MF'N Right" continues in that tradition, with Chainz taking on a beat that doesn't sound unlike something Gucci Mane would've rapped on in 2009. Like Tity Boi's delivery, it's simple but perfectly executed -- and we wouldn't want anything more.
