2 Chainz was arrested earlier today for carrying brass knuckles through the airport.

Reports say that 2 Chainz was in Laguardia Airport on his way to a show in North Carolina when TSA discovered brass knuckles in his bag.

The rapper was taken into custody for a misdemeanor possession of a criminal weapon this afternoon.

A rep for 2 Chainz says his team is "handling the situation."

However, supposedly the "brass knuckles" were actually a four-finger DOPE ring you see on 2 Chainz' hand in the photo below.
