2 Chainz has been one the understated heroes of 2016, dropping his Felt Like Cappin' mixtape as well as well as the joint ColleGrove album, on which, no offense to Tune, he was the superior force. One of his finest moments of the year came earlier this month, as he made a surprise appearance on an unfairly luxurious beat from one of New York's underground kings, Statik Selektah. The collab is set to appear on Statik's next album, but before he gives fans more intel on that, he and Tity have dropped the "Smoke Break" video. Best believe that much greenery was burned during the shoot.
The video takes place in Statik's homeland of New York City, and Chainz takes in the city lights as Statik crafts him a beat like he's never rapped over in his life. Now it's time for Statik to go down to the ATL trap and see if the inspiration works in reverse.
