This week on hip-hop: Labels, labels, labels. Either because the record heads can't get it together or the artists don't want to play the game, the past couple of days saw two rappers at odds with their respective labels. Chief Keef is on the verge of getting dropped from Interscope. It was probably a long time coming to be honest, but at least Keef looks like he's still eating. Tyga is too, even though he'll have the OVO army against him.
All while every album this year fails to go platinum. The music industry isn't great these days, but at least some are still flourishing (props to Mac Miller). Check out both sides of the coin on this week's 140 Bars Or Less.
