Shut Ur pussy Ass up lil boy @souljaboy— Gillie Da Kid (@gilliedakid) August 11, 2014
Gillie Da Kid got into a Twitter fight against Soulja Boy on Monday over an Instagram shot he took at Soulja Boy's alleged fake wealth. Soujla Boy ended up shooting some death threats at him on Twitter, but eventually deleted the treats, presumably because he came to his senses and didn't want to incriminate himself.
B.o.B backpedaled on his tweets suggesting that protesters are being hypocritical in their reaction to Mike Brown's death.
This hasn't been a great week in America. Beloved comedian and actor Robin Williams passed away under particularly tragic circumstances at the age of 63. Plus, we saw a blatant violation of the first amendment at the protests in Ferguson, Mo., where unarmed African-American male Mike Brown was slain by cops. Although rappers sometimes don't abide by normal people logic, they're still human beings in America. Some felt and reacted to the circumstances accordingly.
While those two stories took are the main headlines, some rappers carried on with their typical dealings. One got out of line and issued a death threat (which pretty much means you won't carry through unless you really snitched on yourself). This edition of 140 Bars Or Less: Tweets Of The Week finds artists going through a range of emotions.
