Water is life. Without water this beautiful planet we call home would not exist, thus the variety of music we enjoy at festivals would not exist. Water is essential for both creating and sustaining life. Do you want to remain alive and vibrant all while seeing your favorite act live? Of course you do! Well, drink plenty of water.
I recommend bringing cases of your own water. This is essential due to the lengthy lines that will occur for the free water provided by the campgrounds. Not to mention, that water is generally less than stellar. You’d rather have left over bottles than not enough, so depending on how many people you are attending with will determine how many cases you should bring with you. I recommend purchasing a Camelbak before. This makes hydrating that much easier. Nothing is worse than being dehydrated at a festival. Not only do you miss several good acts but you will be out of commission the entire weekend. Drink water and drink more water. You will more than likely consuming alcohol or other vices, which will ultimately work to dehydrate you. Water will help keep you at a healthy and happy level, allowing you to dance the night away to whatever raucous performances light up the sky until 3 AM.
